Salted Vines Vineyard & Winery

These establishments are in no particular order. The first winery on our list is Salted Vines Vineyard & Winery.

Salted Vines is a lovely winery located in between Rehoboth Beach and Ocean City, making it a great spot to make on your vacation. This vineyard is a whopping 26 acres off the beaten path which isn’t something one would necessarily expect for the area. They have a tasting room and cellar which you can get winery tours of. There are also light snacks like cheeses and charcuterie available. Their wine slushies are delicious too!

Different wines are offered throughout the year according to the season. In the fall they may have a pumpkin slushy wine while on Valentine’s Day they’ve had a cranberry wine. Besides these specialty wines, they have a regular rotation of a variety of dry, sweet, and in-between options meaning there is something for everyone to enjoy. We enjoyed the Seaside Escape white wine a lot; a light finish wine with hints of melon and grassy notes.

Along with great wine is great ambiance at this establishment. The indoor rustic tasting room is beautifully decorated and the outdoor patio has spacious seating offering lovely views of the grounds.

Often times there is live music at the vineyard as well as food trucks. Check out their calendar for upcoming events which happen often at Salted Vines.

From May through October they host a farmer’s market every Sunday. Check out their calendar page for more information and other events hosted at the winery.

Weekends are extremely busy at Nassau Valley, especially in the summer. They offer free self guided tours and $15 tastings which includes a keepsake wine glass. The self-guided tour is highly regarded as a more unique experience compared to other wineries. It includes a five gallery museum all about the history of making wine as well as a new exhibit every month featuring regional artists in the area. There are also guided tours available Tues-Thurs by appointment only for $20 per person which include an etched crystal tasting glass.

Get a wine tasting! We recommend trying the Redneck Rouge, a sweet and spicy red wine or True Blueberry which is a sweet red blueberry wine made 100% from blueberries.
